Professor Buchmann's current research focuses on race, class and gender inequalities in higher education  in the United States; educational and labor market  inequalities  in  South  Africa;  and  the  consequences  of globalization and worldwide educational expansion for economic and social development.

Registration is $50 for faculty or other professionals and $25 for students.

     The conference fee includes:

  •  Continental breakfast 
  •  Coffee break with book publishers
  •  Sit-down lunch 
  •  A copy of the 2007 issue of the academic journal,  Michigan Sociological Review
  • Free Parking at the Kellogg Parking Garage (passes given at registration)

The deadline for pre-registration has now passed.  

PLEASE REGISTER ON-SITE FRIDAY OR SATURDAY.

    Seats at the luncheon will be provided as available.

On-site registration will be held both Friday (at the reception) and Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
