- September 18 Program -

Walkinshaw Sanctuary, Walkerville, and Gale's Pond
Leader: Dayle Vanderwier
Meet at 7:00 a.m. in the Tractor Supply Parking Lot, Whitehall Road north of Giles Road. Watch Sandhill Cranes at the sanctuary, enjoy a breakfast in Walkerville, then walk around Gale's Pond. Return to Tractor Supply by 1:00 p.m.
- October 11 Fieldtrip -
CraneFest at Baker Sanctuary, Calhoun County
Chartered Bus, Afternoon & Evening, $25 per person Contact: Feller DeWitt (231) 755-676
Our chartered bus will load at 1:45 p.m. in the old K-Mart parking lot on Henry Street (across from Chili's restaurant) and leave at 2:00 p.m. We will arrive at the Baker Sanctuary in northwest Calhoun County about 4:00, participate in various festival activities for a couple hours and eat (from brown bag or from food venders at the festival).
From 6:00-7:00 the Sandhill Cranes should fly in from all directions and we will witness a beautiful natural phenomenon. The bus will then return us to Muskegon at about 9:30.
There are still plenty of available seats, so please let us know if you'd like to join us on this trip. $25.00 per person. No membership required. Contact: Feller DeWitt 755-67677
